90-Day Abandonment Policy
To ensure efficient shop operation and inventory management, Revive Engine Works (BKR Performance LLC) maintains the following policy regarding parts, engines, and materials left in our possession after service completion.
Policy Details
This policy applies to all customer property, including full engines, short blocks, engine components, and any accessories (collectively, "Customer Property"), for which services have been completed and payment is due.
Notification of Completion: Upon completion of service, we will notify the customer via their preferred contact method (phone, text, or email). A detailed invoice will be issued, and the customer will be expected to arrange for final payment and pickup or shipping of the Customer Property.
Initial Pickup Period (0–30 Days):
The customer must complete payment and pick up the Customer Property within 30 calendar days of the Completion Notification Date.
No storage fees will be applied during this period.
Late Pickup & Storage Fees (31–90 Days):
If the Customer Property is not picked up or shipped by the 30-day deadline, a daily storage fee of $40 per week for complete engines and $25 per week for components will be applied, retroactive to Day 31. The fee will be assessed on the 1st day of each week.
The Customer Property will not be released until all service fees and accrued storage fees are paid in full.
We will make at least one (1) additional documented attempt to contact the customer regarding the outstanding balance and pickup.
Abandonment and Disposal (After 90 Days):
If the Customer Property has not been retrieved, and the outstanding balance (services plus storage fees) has not been paid within 90 calendar days of the Completion Notification Date, the property will be deemed abandoned.
At this point, Revive Engine Works (BKR Performance LLC) reserves the right to exercise a mechanic’s lien, which may include, but is not limited to:
Selling the Customer Property to cover the outstanding service and storage costs.
Disposing of or scrapping the Customer Property.
Using the Customer Property for parts.
The customer explicitly waives all claims to the Customer Property and proceeds from any sale or disposal after the 90-day period.
Important Notes
Communication is Key: If you anticipate any delay in pickup, you must contact us immediately to make alternate arrangements.
Waiver: By authorizing work to be performed, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms of this 90-Day Abandonment Policy.
